At our clinics, every pet examination is designed to be detailed and efficient. Appointments typically last between 20 to 30 minutes, allowing our experienced veterinarians the time to thoroughly assess your pet’s health, listen to your concerns and ensure nothing is overlooked.
Our team takes a comprehensive approach to care, aiming not just to treat symptoms but to identify and resolve the root of the problem. We believe that delivering the best medicine upfront means your pet stays healthier in the long run and you make fewer trips to the vet.
Your pet’s well-being is our priority, and we’re committed to making every visit count.
We know that a visit to the vet can be stressful for both pets and their people. That’s why our examination process is designed to be as calm, supportive, and fear-free as possible.
Each consultation begins with a thorough history, where we take the time to listen to your concerns and understand your pet’s background, behaviour and health status while your pet acclimatises to the room. We then work gently with your pet, moving at their pace and paying close attention to any signs of anxiety or discomfort while carefully examining them for signs of poor health or discomfort.
To help pets feel more at ease we offer licky mats, toys and positive distractions during their visit. Our consult and waiting rooms are also treated with Adaptil and Feliway (calming pheromones) that help reduce stress in dogs and cats.
If your pet is showing signs of fear or distress, we will never push through an exam. Instead, we may recommend gentle sedation or rescheduling the visit with calming medications to ensure the experience is as low-stress as possible. Our goal is to build trust and confidence, so that every visit becomes easier over time, not harder.
At both our clinics, your pet’s emotional well-being is just as important as their physical health.
