We provide a pet and animal grooming service at Rose Avenue and Toormina Road Vets, where we expertly groom your cat or dog. Because we can sedate our patients, we can clip the more challenging to handle pets! For example, very few groomers are willing to clip cats. Sometimes we may even need to fully anaesthetise a patient if they are particularly matted, stressed or fractious.
All pets we clip must be up to date with their annual health checks and vaccinations. If not, a complete check-up will be necessary before grooming. Our primary focus is on medical clips and paralysis tick management clips. These short clips facilitate thorough searching of your pet for any ticks.

It’s a good idea to get your puppy used to the grooming process by regularly touching their ears and paws and generally handling them. This will help make for a more relaxed first grooming session.
