When pets are unwell, getting to the bottom of the problem quickly and accurately is essential. At our clinic, we take a thorough and practical approach to investigating illness, using a combination of experience, up-to-date technology, and clear communication to support both pets and their owners through the process.
We’re always working to keep our facilities current so we can offer fast, reliable answers when pets are sick. Both our Rose Avenue Hospital and Toormina Road Clinic are fully equipped to treat unwell patients with access to in-house blood testing machines, capable of diagnosing conditions like clotting disorders, snake bites, and many common illnesses on the spot, without having to wait for external lab results.
Our Rose Avenue location currently houses our full veterinary imaging suite, including:
Digital X-rays for bones, joints, and internal organs
Ultrasound for real-time soft tissue and abdominal imaging
A flexible endoscope for minimally invasive diagnostics of the airways and digestive tract
Imaging cases from Toormina are currently referred to Rose Avenue, but plans are already underway to expand imaging capabilities at Toormina as well. Our goal is for both clinics to offer the same high standard of diagnostic equipment in the near future.
We’re also proud our lead vet, Dr Emma, has completed additional training in diagnostic ultrasound, giving us extra capability when advanced imaging is needed.
Our experienced veterinary team is dedicated to staying at the forefront of clinical knowledge and procedures. But great care doesn’t end at diagnosis. Our clinic uses VetCheck to ensure every step of your pet’s treatment plan is coordinated and clearly documented. From vital signs and medication doses to personalised care updates, nothing is missed.
This streamlined system also enhances team communication, so whether your pet is recovering in hospital or visiting for a day procedure, you can rest assured they’re being monitored closely and consistently.
We understand how stressful it is to have a sick pet. That’s why we’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Our team provides regular updates, including photos, progress reports and timely communication so you always know how your pet is doing.
Whether your pet needs a simple check-up or in-depth investigation, we are here to deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and experienced care, because your pet deserves nothing less.
