Alexia graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England in July 2009 and moved to Australia in January 2010. Alexia worked for two large hospitals dealing with small animals in Sydney’s outer west until moving to Coffs Harbour to join our team in September 2011 – the best move she’s made!
Alexia joined our practice in the middle of tick season, and quickly rose to the challenges this presents. Having worked in a greyhound practice where strong emphasis was placed on reproduction, Alexia brings a lot of knowledge in this area. However, her favourite areas of veterinary medicine are dermatology, cardiology and emergency medicine. Alexia also enjoys soft tissue surgery and radiology.
In her spare time Alexia can often be found at the cinema watching the latest releases. She loves to try new things, so living on the Coffs Coast naturally led to scuba diving. She also enjoys zumba classes, cycling and running.
Alexia is trying to see as much of Australia as possible – having visited Perth, Cairns, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and the Hunter Valley – so has a long way to go!
